Blast Hose Couplings |
PRODUCT INFORMATION |
》Origin: United States |
》Blast hose couplings provide secure seals between lengths of blast hose and to hookups to blast machines, preventing air and media leakage. In doing so, blast hose couplings promote safety and productivity. Clemco offers blast hose couplings manufactured with different materials to fit your applications' requirements: |
》Nylon – Lightweight to reduce operator fatigue and features a built-in lock spring to eliminate the need for safety pins.
Aluminum – Lightweight to reduce operator fatigue. Helpful when operators need to hold sections of blast hose, as when on scaffolding or in other situations when blast hose must be held vertically.
Brass – The most durable coupling material, but heavier than nylon or aluminum. Ideal for long runs of blast hose that frequently are dragged and moved throughout a job site. |
》Also can supply the coupling for the hose of

Nozzles |
PRODUCT INFORMATION |
》Origin: United States |
》
Clemco offers long and short venturi nozzles manufactured with different materials and in various thread sizes to fit your applications' requirements.
|
》Nozzle Liner Material
Provides great wear resistance. Tungsten carbide nozzles are excellent for use with steel grit, steel shot, or any iron abrasive because the high density of steel abrasives can cause chipping in other carbide nozzles. They also are an excellent choice when mineral or coal slag abrasive is used in applications with rough handling. They can last up to 300 to 400 hours when used with expendable abrasives. |
》 Silicon Carbide (Clemlite)
Weigh about 40% less than comparable tungsten carbide nozzles, making silicon carbide nozzles easier to hold for long durations. They also last longer than tungsten carbide nozzles, up to 400 to 600 hours when used with expendable abrasives. |
》
Boron Carbide
The longest-wearing carbide nozzles. Boron carbide nozzles are extremely tolerant of sharp abrasives, such as aluminum oxide and silicon carbide, and can last up to 750 to 1,500 hours when used with expendable abrasives. |
》Thread Size
1-1/4” – For less frequent nozzle changeovers, 1-1-/4” nozzles provide a secure seal for nozzle holders.
50 mm – For frequent changeovers, 50 mm nozzles prevent binding and galling from media during installation.
Flanged – For easy installation and frequent changeovers.
|
》Nozzle Jacket Material
Metal – Provides a higher-level of protection against impact from rough blasting applications.
Rubber – Lightweight material that provides impact protection for nozzles but not as robust as a metal jacket. |
